Chicago yesterday

 I went to the lakefront yesterday morning for sunrise. I was hoping for some big waves but the wind died during the night and it was much calmer than the day before. I found some cool new spots for future  engagement or bridal shoots!

I heard that one cannot be considered a true internet dork unless he posts a cat video. Here is my submission.

I'm thinking of using this  blog site to post images instead of FB. The quality is better and there is something about FB that I don't trust. Have you read your agreement with FB when you signed up?
I don't want to end up like Kyle.

Baby Cardinal

We recently had a nest of Cardinals in our front yard. I was surprised to see how young they are when they leave the nest with minimal flying skills.

Ice Fishing ...I still don't get it

What a great weekend! Russ and Nancy invited us to their lake home in Wisconsin to do some ice fishing. The morning started off at -5 below, bright sunshine, ice thick enough to drive on and no wind! Wonderful conditions. Fishing was tough but we did catch a couple. Dan and Roger cooked the fish along with other fillets that Roger brought with him and we had a real "shore lunch" style dinner.
